Experience:
Steve was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Communications with a Public Relations emphasis. He then attended the University of Arizona College of law. As a law student, he served as president of the Howard W. Hunter Law Society (now a chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society) and served as a “Writing Fellow” where he mentored first year students in legal writing and oral advocacy. He also made the Dean’s List for multiple semesters during his studies at the University of Arizona.
During law school Steve worked as a law clerk for Judge Gary E. Donahoe of the Maricopa County Superior Court and as a clerk for the Never Again Foundation. Steve also worked as a clerk for Alverson Taylor Mortensen & Sanders located in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was later brought on as an associate attorney. Steve joined Bingham & Snow as an associate attorney in August 2006.
As an attorney, Steve has experience in personal injury litigation including experience in insurance defense work, workers’ compensation and administrative law, commercial litigation, homeowners’ association litigation, mechanic’s lien law and real estate law.
Steve is a member of the Southern Utah Bar Association and enjoys sports, camping and spending time with his family. Steve and his wife Ramona have been married over 10 years and are the parents of one girl and three boys.
