EXPERIENCE:
Sam was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. He attended the University of Utah where he graduated with a BS in Marketing and received the business school’s Outstanding Senior Award. Sam then attended law school at Valparaiso University School of Law in Indiana.
As a law student Sam was invited to join the law school’s Moot Court Honor Society and served as President of the J. Rueben Clark Law Society (Student Chapter). During his second year of law school Sam clerked for the Law Office of Weiss & Schmidgall, and the following year clerked for Judge Jeffrey J. Dywan of the Lake County Superior Court.
After graduation Sam moved his family to Las Vegas, Nevada and accepted a position with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office. As a deputy district attorney, Sam prosecuted hundreds of felony cases, and spent countless hours in court conducting evidentiary hearings, arguing motions, and in felony jury trials involving sexual assault with a minor, attempted murder, home invasion, and drug trafficking.
Sam joined Bingham & Snow as an associate attorney in 2010 and has experience in both civil and criminal litigation.
INTERESTS:
Sam and his wife Annjeanette have been married over 11 years and have one son and three daughters. In his spare time Sam enjoys spending time with his family, and playing basketball and golf.
